 Fayoum Location
  Fayoum is located in the heart of Egypt between the Delta and Upper Egypt, 100 kilometers southwest of Cairo. It is one of the oases in the republic and is considered a miniature image of Egypt, as Bahr Youssef represents its Nile and Delta, and Lake Qarun represents its coastal north. Fayoum is considered one of the most important tourist areas in Egypt, as it combines all the elements of tourist attraction, as it is characterized by the beauty of nature and its moderate climate throughout the year. Prehistoric civilizations appeared in it, which left their immortal mark through the Pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Coptic and Islamic monuments. Its area is 6068.70 square kilometers and includes six administrative centers: Fayoum - Senuris - Itsa - Tamia - Ibshway - Youssef El-Siddiq

 Fayoum Emblem
  It displays the famous water wheel of Fayoum, and Qarun Lake in the North of the governorate, surrounded by a yellow frame representing the desert around the governorate. The green landscape refers to the land of the governorate and in the background appears Egypt's flag.
